Here are some immediate actions you can take to improve performance:

1. Check your internet connection.

Projector is browser-based and requires access to a reliable and stable internet connection.

2. Close any Projector tabs not being used, and refresh the browser.

3. Log out of Projector and log in with a new browser window.

4. Update the latest version of your browser.

Projector works on the following browsers: Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

5. Enable hardware acceleration.

Projector runs on WebGL and enabling hardware acceleration can help to improve performance.

If you're using Google Chrome:

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. Click on the three dots icon at the upper-right corner of the browser.

  3. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.

  4. On the menu at the left-hand side, click Advanced.

  5. Select System.

  6. Toggle the switch next to “Use hardware acceleration when available” to enable hardware acceleration.

If you're using Firefox:

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. Click on the three bars icon at the upper-right corner of the browser.

  3. Select Preferences from the drop-down menu.

  4. In the General tab, scroll down to the Performance section.

  5. Check the box next to “Use recommended performance settings” to enable hardware acceleration.

If you're using Microsoft Edge:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Click on the three dots icon at the upper-right corner of the browser.

  3. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.

  4. Click the System selector.

  5. Under System, toggle the switch next to “Use hardware acceleration when available” to enable hardware acceleration.

  6. Click the Restart button to implement the selection.

If you're using Safari:

  • Hardware acceleration is always enabled in Safari.
